On this page I collect my observations of the galactic emission nebula NGC 7635 (Bubble Nebula) in the constellation Cassiopeia.

Introduction

The galactic emission nebula NGC 7635 (Bubble Nebula) in the constellation Cassiopeia is located close to the well-known open star cluster M 52 and looks like a bubble. With the Vespera, it can be observed together with M 52. A Vespera Pro mosaic can also include NGC 7538 and C9 (Cave Nebula, Sh2-155).

In the Vespera field, NGC 7635 can be observed together with M 52. A Vespera Pro mosaic can even include NGC 7538 (Northern Lagoon Nebula) and C 9 (Cave Nebula, Sh2-155).

In a Dwarf mini mosaic, the emission nebula Sh2-157 (Lobster Claw Nebula) is visible instead of C9 - along with the open star cluster NGC 7510, the emission nebula NGC 7538 (Northern Lagoon Nebula), the emission nebula (H II region) Sh2-159, and the emission nebula Sh2-161 (partially); the open star cluster M 52 is only partially visible.
