On this page I collect my observations of the elliptical galaxy M 89 in the constellation Virgo.
According to Stoyan, the elliptical galaxy M 89 in the constellation Virgo is a small round galaxy with a much brighter center. Larger telescopes will not see much more... In the eVscope it looks circular.
Size: 1.5' (Stoyan)
Distance: 60 million light years (Stoyan)
Rating: * (Stoyan)
