On this page I collect my observations of the spiral galaxy NGC 5907 (Knife Edge Galaxy; also NGC 5906) in the constellation Draco, plus several nearby galaxies, such as the barred spiral galaxy NGC 5905, the spiral galaxy NGC 5908, and the spiral galaxy NGC 5879.

Introduction

The spiral galaxy NGC 5907 (Knife Edge Galaxy; also NGC 5906) in the constellation Draco can be seen edge-on. In contrast to other "edge-on" galaxies, the ends are not pointed.

In a Vespera Pro mosaic you can find further galaxies:

the barred spiral galaxy NGC 5905,
the spiral galaxy NGC 5908,
and the spiral galaxy NGC 5879.
