Introduction

The globular star cluster M 70 is located in the constellation Sagittarius and the middle one of the three globular clusters M 54, M 70, and M 69.

Observations September/October 2019

• Sep 30, 2019 (Sumène, France: StarTravel 120/600 on AZ Pronto Mount): M 70 (24, 10, 4 mm) located close to a longer chain of stars -> for identification; small

Observations August 2020

• August 9, 2020 (Mühlhausen/Kraichgau: eVscope): M 70 photographed in the new rectangular format without overlay, disturbed, many hot pixels
