On this page I collect my observations of the spiral galaxy NGC 5371 and the galaxy group Hickson 68 in the constellation Canes Venatici.

Introduction

The spiral galaxy NGC 5371 and the galaxy group Hickson 68 in constellation Canes Venatici are close enough together so that they can be observed together in the eVscope 2. The Hickson 68 galaxy group (HGC 68) consists of NGC 5350, NGC 5353, NGC 5354, NGC 5355, and NGC 5358 is about 100 (or 120) million light-years away. The spiral galaxy (barred spiral) NGC 5371 is located at a similar distance.
