On this page I collect my observations of the planetary nebula IC 4634 (Rose Nebula) in the constellation Ophiuchus/Serpent Bearer.

Introduction

The planetary nebula IC 4634 (Rose Nebula) in the constellation Ophiuchus/Serpent Bearer has a point-symmetric, s-shaped structure, but is so tiny that none of this can be detected in the eVscope. The nebula itself is difficult to find, but in the end the color helps.

Size: 0.2 x 0.1 (SkySafari)
Distance: 7,500 light years (Wikipedia)
